Monero has been losing value against fiat since 2021 and has not appreciated in value against fiat nor has it appreciated at the level of inflation.
So what do you need Monero for? Cash is more private as it leaves no record on the blockchain.

All privacy efforts should be focused on Bitcoin and not shitcoins, if a currency cannot protect you against inflation it is useless, for such a case better use cash.

The time will show what monero people can't see today. Unfortunately monero can't be a store of value, who is holding monero will lose as fiat is losing. I don't hate monero but we need to see and understand the facts.
Lightning, Liquid, Ecash, etc are solved/solving the privacy on the best store of value ever created.
You don't get the bigger picture, don't you?
Go to a chart website and find out that the shittiest of shitcoins (DOGE, SOLANA,...) have been appreciating in price. Does that make them a better store of value than BTC or a better medium of exchange than Monero?
DOGE is a perfect example.
Created at the same time as Monero it is up vs BTC x4 since 2013. Solely if you bought DOGE in 2021 and 2022 are you down against BTC. Now DOGE has inflationary policies at its core and zero privacy.
So if I would need to recommended a good store of value outside the fiat system DOGE is the superior option by far.
That you haven't read the papers that called for state attacks against Monero speaks volumes. You are far behind the curve when it comes to adversarial thinking, which is ways a dangerous position.
As mentioned before. Enjoy your fiat NGU. But stop hating on the coin that gets severely state attacked for bringing decent privacy to all users.
And get rid of BTC. DOGE is the better store of value.
A currency is only as good as the number of people who accept it. Aside from a handful of niche tech services, I've never seen or heard of Monero being accepted IRL. On the other hand, there's a dozen or so businesses within a10 mile radius of my house that accept bitcoin as payment for their products and services. And most of them accept Lightning. It's substantially more useful than XMR.

We are different, each person has his own necessities. Why do I need monero? None of your business. But I need it, as much as a lot of people out there. Numbers don't go up? Who cares, there's Bitcoin for that
Bitcoin almost maxed out its investment capabilities while Monero is just at the beginning.
In the normal world black markets make 30% of the whole market.
In crypto so far it is 0.03%
So if crypto CURRENCY at one point plays a significant role in the world market expect this to self-correct.
Real money doesn't care if it is used in the black (free), grey or white (state controlled) market.
I need it for digital payments made in a private way.
It's just a tool, not the be all end all. Am I the only one who's happy we have CHOICES to pay anonymously and privately online?
We don't even need the statists and globalists to divide and conquer us, we do it ourselves, to ourselves.
Goddamit xD
El problema será cuando no podamos pagar en efectivo ni un mĂsero cafĂ©.
Can't use cash to transact instantly with anyone in the world
