⚡️💬 DEBAT - Do you think 2026 will finally be the turning point for Nostr? With censorship intensifying on all other platforms, is this the moment when Nostr will finally reach millions of users?

My personal opinion: As you know, I invest a lot of time and energy in Nostr, with authentic proof of work, no AI, just manual labor. I believe in it deeply, because 2026 could mark a historic turning point: I deal with this subject every day and I see that censorship is stifling all other platforms. Nostr could well become the LAST true space of freedom, where millions of internet users will come together.

The real takeoff isn’t far, it may be closer than we think. But of course, that’s just my intuition.

I'm terrible at predictions, but since the sell off of tick tock to the israelis

Only X is left for now if they supress free speech there as well (even more) nostr seems to be the only alternative

So 2026? idk but longterm very bullish on nostr 👍

I think it will cement itself as the technology for free speech and be accepted more as a trusted source. However, it won’t gain mainstream adoption until it can be better monetized.

I don't know but it had better be the year of decentralized communication and mesh networking because they seem to be trying like mad to turn the Internet into legacy media 2.0
