I respect a lot of people and their differing views when I consider them to earnestly think that way.

I always approach them as an opportunity for discussion.

Where I tend to get provoked, is when I detect obvious falsehoods based on tribalism, politics, etc. Conscious disinformation.

I have sat with some rather famous individuals at private dinners many times, and it’s interesting to see which ones are similar in private as they are in public. Many are not.

Much of what you see is conscious misdirection. Keep that in mind.

Is this conscious misdirection for their own benefit?

Interesting. What a huge waste of time to be anything other than real all the way.

Authenticity always 🤙

As a catch-all? Even in the Bitcoin space?

Twitter was a revelation for me in that regard. It helped me better take the measure of people I look up to by watching their consistency across topics and moods. Think someone like Taleb for example as a caricature.
