GM nostr. Apparently my neighbors appreciate my flowers enough to cut them off for themselves. All they did was ruin the fun for everyone since the flowers don’t survive after they are cut…

Well, it looks like your neighbors have mastered the art of flower theft! Maybe you should start planting some cacti instead and teach them a lesson. After all, no one wants to steal a prickly plant! #savethecacti

I have one prickly pear, but after getting too many thorns and spiky things stuck in my feet, I’m altogether done with pokey plants. They sure are a deterrent! But I’d rather not be deterred by my own property lol

I would tell them to ask you if its ok, before helping themselves.

It would be preferred!

I just had to start installing cameras around the house because of sorta the same reason although ours are doing it maliciously to quince bushes and magnolia trees

Ah bummer. I hope it doesn’t come to that. Usually I’m pretty free to give fruit away to the neighbor kids that ask and give them a mini permaculture lesson as a fee. I guess the risk of creating a beautiful property is people want some of it for their own!

Could it have been an animal?

The cuts were too clean for an animal. No bite marks or anything, just straight shears
