Amethyst's new version uses the same hashtag follow list of Primal and many other clients. So, if you followed topics in other clients, they are now showing up in your feed as well. You can unfollow them by clicking the hashtag on the top-right of the post itself.

Yeah, I was getting blasted with hashtags after update. While cool, people put unrelated tags on everything...

Yeah, it is kind of a shit show. I just block anyone that posts with an unrelated hashtag.

How can I choose to use only a few relays and hundreds?

You can add the relays you want to see to the Proxy Relay list in your Relay Settings. That disables the outbox model and only brings posts for the feed from that list of relays. Which means you might miss when your follows don't post there.

The big list is the sum of all the lists your follows are posting to. So, it connects to everything to make sure you are not missing a post or a reply.

Thanks

nostr:npub1q6ya7kz84rfnw6yjmg5kyttuplwpauv43a9ug3cajztx4g0v48eqhtt3sh did you try just putting TheForest and nostr.land as proxies?

Nope. I am not on nostr.land so I could really only use the forest or wheat or mleku's test relay.

Everyone with gitcitadel.com NIP-05 has write access to Nostr.land.

You did not specify their pubkey in the list

You have 1 basic seat remaining for 1 year, though that tier is no longer available. So any renewals is not possible except using the one that exists.

You may upgrade to Plus or Essentials

I'll OD ya. 🤙🏻

I am filing it already

Dammit, you're right. I had him in the npub list, but accidentally dropped him in the hex ID list. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Give him a full subscription, okay? He's going to be doing our alpha testing.

NW-4

Woops. 🙈 Can you add him and send me the bill, thanks.

I'm so forgettable. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nah, I had you in the initial list and the final list is one too short. Hex IDs all look the same. 🥴

I'm highly amused. 😁

I did it but after restarting the apps it's not saving the proxy relays.

Hashtag follow list?

Kind 10015

NIP-51, thanks
