Idk but I guess any wireless communication would do that

so it's based on trust for those within your immediate vicinity?

And those with satellites maybe

bluetooth can bounce off satellites?

Not exactly, but some of them might be able to detect it

is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I'd say bad unless they let you use it for something

good to know

I am testing bitch@ nonetheless 🤙

yeah i might check it out

It’s a peer to peer chat, so not sure who it’s doxxing to? Sure, if you’re in a room of 30 people and some use bitchat, I’m not sure how you know who did and didn’t? It seems to just use a generic name, not the device name.

I could be wrong, but at this moment in time I’m not concerned if anyone else walked past me using it.

ok thanks i thought it was like gps and people could track you

No, there’s no way of seeing anyone’s location, or even their devices name. You can customise your name, hopefully people won’t use anything that identifies them to people they don’t know.

I guess in an emergency situation, you would just want someone to be able to receive your messages.

But at this time, no locations.
