I’m not aware of a setting in Primal. Yea, Nostur and Damus by default tag and notify everyone involved when you reply in a thread, with the option to deselect specific users if you don’t want to tag everyone. I wouldn’t mine having the option to reply to everyone in a thread on Primal, but I also like that my notifications don’t get noisy seeing replies that aren’t directly to me.

A. You dont get notifications for every part of a convo you're not in thats happening in your thread. This is good.
B. Person b forget to @ tag you to include you on part of the convo you SHOULD be involved in. This sucks.
People need to be trained to include tags of other npubs if they want to prime a notification.
Not sure about this. They’re all replying under your note. You should be getting notifications for these notes. You shouldnt have to tag the me again. Just like it works on other clients by default
Yes. But. When everyone migrates here and you have 680k followers and there are 85 convos going on in each of your daily note threads.... Do you really want 7527 notifications each day?

That's what I thought. I heard from a friend of mine that sometimes he doesn't get notifications either, and sometimes he feels left out. He doesn't see a lot of things i see and experiences it differently.
I’m usually on Damus or Nostur, not primal. Everytime I use primal I do notice this bug. Maybe your friend is using Primal. No idea. Maybe ask him
