I find it so impressive (read: sad) when ppl drop straight into victim as their default. like their whole life happened to them lol. we're all warriors in our own way and letting that be a driving perspective sure makes life easier.

Right, and it's learned. I believe kids are born with the belief that the impossible is possible. Maybe we need to believe it more ourselves? Balance, right? I'm not about to jump out the window, flapping my arms, but I can hear the wind talk and rivers weep :)

yeah, I imagine identifying as the victim nourishes some part of us that didn't get validation. luckily, the mind is extremely malleable and merely saying you believe or are something is enough to trick it until that perspective sticks.

"I am a warrior, not a victim."

Yeah, maybe it does and I agree about the malleable part too. 🫂💜

(not saying it's a healthy or well adjusted nourishment, just that it seems to be so many people's default that i'm trying to understand what purpose it serves 🤔 what does it feed?)

Yeah, I got that. If we understand what purpose it serves, then we can better use it as a source if strength rather than weakness?

yes what is it feeding and what's a healthier alternative response that feeds the same part 🤝🫂💜
