I’ve had endo before I went plant-based. I don’t have a hormonal imbalance, I have a uterus that bleeds internally so they have to stop my menstrual cycle artificially with hormones.
However, I am slowly transitioning into adding humane sources of animal protein and fats into my diet to slow down inflammatory responses. It’s a process though. If I went straight for a steak tonight, I would be sick to my stomach for a week 🤢
Red meat has been linked to increased estrogen levels which can stimulate endometrial growth and clotting so I have been advised to avoid it and try leaner proteins like fish and poultry. Unfortunately, soy does the same thing for endo as red meat…that’s why I don’t think it’s gonna be sustainable to maintain the plant-based route anymore 🤷♀️
DYOR, be very skeptical of a Dr’s advice on diet 🤣
I could live off fish though for sure, maybe some lobster and crab too!

Not from a doctor. I’m in a group with a bunch of women with endo who share their research, tips, and journey. I fucking love lobster too and I’m excited to eat it again 🤗
Seafood is so good. Oysters and scallops are truly delicacies imo
