Hi nostr, we spent most of the day hanging out with the visiting fam, so i'm ready to get back to my regular chores and regular routine. The wife of the couple was saying how expensive their daughter's wedding was gonna be, mainly because its gonna be a "destination wedding". I honestly think that this kind of wedding is a huge imposition on family/friends who want to attend. I get that the couple want to have their wedding in a place that's special to them, but this puts a burden on everyone, mainly a financial burden, but also a time burden for those that have to take time off work to travel. I always thought that the honeymoon is for the couple to go celebrate wherever they want to go. Imo it's selfish of a couple to make others spend money for flights/hotels just to attend the wedding, often in another country. Ok, i'm done ranting. Yall have a good evening nostr friends. #grownostr #weddings

💯
The only way to "properly" do a destination wedding is to pay for everyone's travel and accomodations. My wife went to Costa Rica for our friend's wedding and the groom's father paid for it all. THAT is all good but making people pay their own way is jsut not going to happen for 9 of 10 people
Good evening ✌️🧡
I agree. I probably wouldn't attend a destination wedding. It's just a waste of money and a way to get useless clout.
What kind of rabbit is that? I’d love to see more pictures of your setup. Here are a couple pictures of the rabbit tractors I built last year. I’m new to rabbits and it helps to see what other people are doing.

So we have three of these tractors that we use as needed. Right now the buck is separated from the 2 does, who are in a stationary enclosure because they have babies that are not yet weaned, and the stationary enclosure is built more securely, for predators. When the babies are weaned, they first go into a raised cage (shown), then into a tractor. And when the does dont have babies to nurse, we put them in a tractor. This is working for us, but i'm sure there are many different options. I think they are californians? Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing. It’s nice to see how someone else does it. I do mine a little different. I built more robust tractors and let all the breeding and nursing going on in the tractor then I built grow out cages. Honestly, I haven’t had very many rabbits to eat personally. People have been buying them up before they get old enough to process.
Thats a good problem to have!
I agree
Lol, it was 3-hour drive for my family and they were already bitching af😅
