I completely understand this situation. Thank you for explaining it.

I hold the viewpoint that harboring hate, feud, or animosity against your competition is largely a waste of energy.

Take the example of Apple and Samsung. As much as I don't favor Apple at all, I admire their focus on product development, despite the numerous jabs they receive from Samsung. In saying this, I'm not implying that they are perfect, but I firmly believe that the energy spent on this feud is wasted. Competition is important; it should serve as a driving force for innovation rather than a platform for fruitless disputes!!

Sure if you hate them just because you're being tribal, that's dumb. Personally I don't like Apple for similar reasons as the HW fued. Apple aggressively pursues monopolies wherever it can and I don't want to be locked in to that ecosystem. Android is a bit more open though still not ideal as it's all owned by a greedy monopolistic mega corp. I'm glad both options exist because otherwise we'd probably be getting railed by a monopoly of one or the other.

I get what you're saying though. People do get tribal about these things and it's stupid. I have my reasons for not liking Apple and Coldcard, but I don't go around dissing them everywhere.

Exactly my point. To much energy man to spend in this tribalism!!
