In testing. nostr:nprofile1qqsgthcq5tm2jxz9x4xg6tvlh26qq2actdpztwh2kc86lvjc03gr36spzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef04s9mqq can now stream to any RTMP server (like a hosted livepeer or a self-hosted SRS) and will publish (and maintain) the Nostr NIP-53 live event note from the app so you can find it on zap stream, Amethyst, shosho browse et al.

TLDR: Anyone can stream to anywhere and still be found and chat on Nostr.

TTLDR: You can't DDoS a protocol.

Since zap stream went down it motivated me to make my own RTMP server. So it means I could enter my stream url in shosho and steam in irl? so cool

Yes if you like that's exactly right.

I have been testing locally today and it's looking pretty tight.

You would go to the servers screen, add a new generic rtmp server with a) ingest rtmp:// url, b) stream key, c) playback .m3u8 url

Shosho would then broadcast to the RTMP Ingest, and publish a Nostr 30311 with link to "streaming" at your playback URL.

Before release I want to get a new zap stream instance up and test that works too. Otherwise gtg. Should release early next week.

Trying to zap you but amethyst<-->coinos has been broken for a while and im too stupid to fix it.
