Need #bitcoin help #plebchain. I'm trying to move my Sats off Ledger to Coldcard using Sparrow. But I keep getting "could not open client or get fingerprint info". I'm using Linux Cinnamon. Does anyone know the fix? Should I just import the seed to sparrow instead?

You can import thr ledger seed into thr cold card using the ephemeral seed option.

What did you do exactly? Did you try sending the funds from Ledger/Trezor to the Coldcard wallet on Sparrow?

No. Havent tried sending anything yet. Was just trying to import the ledger account onto sparrow using import wallet or create new wallet. The connected ledger can't open when scanning.

If you go to sparrow wallet telegram group and ask they will help. Craig and others on there are very responsive

Go to sparrowwallet.com and follow the link to the real Telegram group. There's a scam group that shows up first if you search for it in Telegram. 🙄

1. Check Permissions: On Linux, hardware wallets sometimes require additional permissions. You may need to add a Udev rule for the Ledger device. Details on how to do this are available on Ledger's official support page.

2. Update Software and Firmware: Ensure that both Sparrow Wallet and your Ledger device are running the latest versions of their respective software and firmware. Outdated versions may cause compatibility issues.

3. Debug Connection: You can run Sparrow Wallet from the command line with debugging enabled to get more detailed error messages, which may help in identifying the problem.

4. Try a Different Cable or Port: Sometimes the connection issues are related to physical connections, such as a faulty cable or USB port. Try using a different cable or connecting to a different USB port.

Udev did the trick. Thank you!
