Alby is BTC only. You can deposit to a bitcoin onchain address and to your Alby lightning address.

For sending via the Alby browser extension you can also do that to an onchain bitcoin address but the amount needs to be within a certain range. Or you send BTC via the lightning network. That's what Alby can do best.

How would I send my small amount of sats from Alby to Unstoppable wallet using the lightning network?

If Unstoppable wallet does not support the lightning network you can send the bitcoin via the Alby extension to an onchain address from your Unstoppable Wallet. Unfortunately, this requires a minimum amount of BTC as you noticed.
