Alby is BTC only. You can deposit to a bitcoin onchain address and to your Alby lightning address.

For sending via the Alby browser extension you can also do that to an onchain bitcoin address but the amount needs to be within a certain range. Or you send BTC via the lightning network. That's what Alby can do best.
