I've seen a lot of people fail at trying to prove the earth is round... and others fail at proving it flat.

I grew up believing the round thing and it's hard to imagine that idea being wrong, but anything's possible.

I think radio waves shoot out straight into space and dont bend (much). So, reaching places on the other side of the earth is difficult due to it's round nature.

But I havent tried it.

I guess airplanes dont fly straight over long distances, but instead adjust to the curvature of earth to maximize efficiency. But again, I just take this as truth, I'm not a pilot.

Sometimes I wonder if it matters to me at all.

My truth is both versions of the story are illusion. Us humans really really want to make a story for that which we don't understand.

I trust in my experience

It's all maya. But within the maya, what's your take on our planetary shape?

Neither. Maya is illusion. No fixed shape. Not one reality. All of is are projectors. I leave that part open in my reality. No need to define it.

Hmm. I think I agree with the conclusion, even if the premise feels like a cop out.

I have a perspective on reality and what makes this place like this. To try and put it into words is difficult.

I see it as a spiral. Like a musical scale.

And if there is no observer, there is no tree.

No one can take it all in at once.

Defining it is a trap in my opinion. I think in frequency and vibration. Our reality aligns with the frequency we emit..

Maybe if I wanted be an astronaut I would see it differently. Until then...

I see. Well, when I hold an orange in my hand, no matter what frequency I emit (or perhaps due to my singular frequency emissions) it is undoubtedly spherical. Illusion or not.

Spherical? Sounds made up

Have you ever drawn the flower of life pattern?

The story of the sphere. It's a good one. I've never seen one.

Tell me about a perfect circle you have ever witnessed.

I'm not sure I follow. The perfection of shape isn't necessary when defining the shape of a thing. Is anything perfect?

Its all perfect. And none of it fits into our rules of perfect. The perfect circle is a figment of the imagination.

The perfect imagination.

Ahh. The Maya

This is all just my take. I don't know

An undefined yet perfected take. I'll 'take' it.

I am seeking to always be less attached. I let go of that story a while ago. I don't mind if it's a cop out. I get why people would feel that.

The plants and animals inform my truth.

I like to think I am spiraling up observing the fabric of time and space.

And some would call me crazy dude in the desert. It has a ring to it.

Why do we define a shape?

You can just calculate the circumference of the Earth by looking at shadows! That's how they proved Earth was round without airplanes and spaceships and what not. Simple geometry.

The earth only appears to be this or that. Its neither flat, nor round, nor spheroidal, nor any other shape.

There’s no definitive way to prove whether the Earth is a globe or flat, especially when the only arguments you hear from those who believe in a round Earth are things like "trust the scientists," or they’ll point you to some YouTube experiment and say, "Look, this proves the Earth is round."

The globe Earth side often relies on authority and trust in experts rather than offering direct evidence that can be verified by anyone.

I grew up believing the Earth was round too, simply because that’s what I was taught in government schools. Government-run education systems don’t encourage questioning the narrative or looking into alternative explanations. People are just told that it’s round and expected to accept it without further inquiry.

What they should do is teach students both perspectives, globe Earth and Flat Earth. However, the flat Earth model makes more intuitive sense to many and is far easier to understand, so it’s likely that students would start to see that the round Earth theory doesn’t always hold up when you question it critically.

When it comes to radio waves, long-distance communication is often explained by them bouncing off the firmament. Shorter waves go straight, which fits with the idea of a flat Earth model, where there’s no need to account for curvature in the same way you would on a spherical Earth.

Pilots also don’t have to make constant adjustments for curvature when they fly. They don’t push down after every few hundred kilometers to "correct" their path or worry about flying into space, because, according to flat Earth theory, there is no curvature to adjust for in the first place.

Does it matter? I guess it depends but for some , It should matter because billions are being stolen from us through taxation in order to fund these fake space programs,

on the religious side, they have tried to make humans believe that we are on an endless universe with no purpose when the bible strictly also says the earth is flat and we are here for a purpose.

We can right all we want but either way, the only way to verify is to go up into the sky to reach the firmament or go to the edge of the earth to reach the firmament.

I will take my whole Bitcoin someday buy a boat and supplies and take anyone with me who wants to go and we will all go to the edge of the earth.
