My truth is both versions of the story are illusion. Us humans really really want to make a story for that which we don't understand.

I've seen a lot of people fail at trying to prove the earth is round... and others fail at proving it flat.
I grew up believing the round thing and it's hard to imagine that idea being wrong, but anything's possible.
I think radio waves shoot out straight into space and dont bend (much). So, reaching places on the other side of the earth is difficult due to it's round nature.
But I havent tried it.
I guess airplanes dont fly straight over long distances, but instead adjust to the curvature of earth to maximize efficiency. But again, I just take this as truth, I'm not a pilot.
Sometimes I wonder if it matters to me at all.

It's all maya. But within the maya, what's your take on our planetary shape?
Neither. Maya is illusion. No fixed shape. Not one reality. All of is are projectors. I leave that part open in my reality. No need to define it.
Hmm. I think I agree with the conclusion, even if the premise feels like a cop out.
I have a perspective on reality and what makes this place like this. To try and put it into words is difficult.
I see it as a spiral. Like a musical scale.
And if there is no observer, there is no tree.
No one can take it all in at once.
Defining it is a trap in my opinion. I think in frequency and vibration. Our reality aligns with the frequency we emit..
Maybe if I wanted be an astronaut I would see it differently. Until then...
I see. Well, when I hold an orange in my hand, no matter what frequency I emit (or perhaps due to my singular frequency emissions) it is undoubtedly spherical. Illusion or not.
Tell me about a perfect circle you have ever witnessed.
I'm not sure I follow. The perfection of shape isn't necessary when defining the shape of a thing. Is anything perfect?
Its all perfect. And none of it fits into our rules of perfect. The perfect circle is a figment of the imagination.
The perfect imagination.
Ahh. The Maya
Why do we define a shape?
