Tried Hershey’s chocolate for the first time today. It’s got a sort of vomit aftertaste. Slightly bitter. It’s interesting.

When I have kids one day, when they’re rather naughty that’s what I’d give them. The taste of disappointment.

My personal chocolate list:

1. Swiss chocolate 👌🏽

2. British chocolate

3. Dubai chocolate

essence of wax

Yup 🥲

Grainy and lacks lustre

It tasted of sadness 😭💯

Lick chalk. Same taste.

With an aftertaste of despair 😭

☠️

Went to the Hershey plant once when we were driving 900 miles to visit my mom’s aunt and uncle. Can’t say I have their chocolate much. Not a big chocolate guy. I do usually buy Swiss when I have it though.

Swiss chocolate is bloody brilliant ❤️‍🔥💯 I have a cousin that lives there and when he visited he brought so many bars with him 🥹 was a good day

Chocolate smuggling?!?!

🤣😂🤣🫂

If you ever stumble upon a monastery shop and they sell their own chocolate… go for it!

I am intrigued ❤️‍🔥

American chocolate is very bad, possibly the worst.

Belgium chocolate is pretty good.

Oh dear 😭 I didn’t know it was all bad. I thought maybe just Hersheys.

Oh yes! I forgot about Belgium chocolate - goes up there with Swiss for me ❤️‍🔥

I've never tasted numbers 2 and 3🤔. Why those?

Possibly a bit bias as I grew up eating British chocolate but it’s really great and I tried Dubai chocolate recently and it’s good too ❤️‍🔥

I completely forgot about Belgium chocolate, but it shares 1st place with Swiss chocolate

I was referring to the uniqueness. What makes the taste of those two unique?

Haha

Hershey’s is among the worst chocolate.

It was really bad 😭 my mum likes it though. She got me to try it, though I knew in my heart it was gonna be bad, but she was so excited about it 🙈

Did you have to overpay and find it at a specialty shop, like when I want Jelly Babies?

I got it from my brother but I actually think they sell it really cheap in shops here 🫂 I’ll try have a look and see if I notice it

Wow I can’t believe they do Jelly Babies over there! But surely you guys have way better sweets than jelly babies

Sure we do, they’re just an uncommon novelty candy.

I like foreign candies. 😊

Most of our food here is pretty awful. I make most things from scratch cause very few places make good quality.

That’s surprising cos I always hear great things though 🙏🏽 but from scratch is the way ❤️‍🔥 my best friend does that, she’s a brilliant cook.

New Zealand has the best chocolate.

Whittakers is the best.

I am intrigued 🫂❤️‍🔥 I shall give it a go one day

it’s so psychotic that people happily consume hersheys…etc.

Are we talking chocolate? Or chocolate flavored candy?

Chocolate only, just cos it’s the only sweet I sometimes eat. I wouldn’t be able to make a list of anything else

It's rotten.

It’s so grim, why would anyone give it to a child 😭

I know I said I would but I was only joking 🙏🏽

As punishment 🤔

😭 grown-ups can be so mean

americans are bad a chocolate

I think it's worse now than ever. I think we like it because we all had it growing up, I never buy it anymore. I buy small batch dark chocolate when I buy chocolate nowadays. I apologize for American chocolate 🫂💜

I was wondering if that might be why 😭🫂

I bet your other chocolate is lovely, it’s just that brand that’s rather dodgy 🫂

Most of what I buy is South/Central American dark chocolate 🤷‍♀️

Fortunately the Ghirardelli family went from Italy to South America to California without stopping in Pennsylvania to pick up any bad habits. Lindt eventually acquired the brand.
