If I accidentally broke your Amethyst, go into settings and disable everything. It will fix itself once that note gets pushed farther down your feed and Amethyst doesn't try to load it again.

Originally when I posted it because I had people arguing with me about Dems not being fascist. So I posted each one to her she they saw it instead of not getting notified since it was a response comment.
Today I just reposted the top one with all of em in it🤷🏽

Damus user here. Confused and operating fine. What happened?
A user's note was crashing my Amethyst. As soon as I scrolled my feed beyond a couple notes, the offending note loaded. I was able to copy it's noteID before my client crashed. I created a new note with that noteID embedded. That immediately crashed my Amethyst. I was not thinking clearly and was wanting to talk about my pain point. So I shared it. My Amethyst then wouldn't load because when it opened to the home feed it would crash. Next, everyone that viewed my note had their Amethyst crash too. 👀
The offending note is a quote thread of the user quoting over and over and over again different YouTube videos. The video previews are perhaps too much to load into memory.
Not content breaking your own apps, gotta go break other folks' too, smdh
