Over the last week or so, I've complained about Proton-related issues when using NewPipe, FreeTube, etc.

Watching via Kazakhstan, Nepal, or European countries has been incredibly slow, so I decided to try, server-by-server whether there were any possible options in Southeast Asia.

Each time I try a new one, I keep getting a new error from FreeTube:

"Error: YouTube has blocked your IP address from watching videos. Please try switching to a different VPN or proxy."

I think it may be time to write to Proton to see what can be done.

Yeah I am having no such problems on Mullvad, including European servers. I think the time for email has come

its the curse of public vpn providers (and datacenter ip ranges), its becoming increasingly annoying to use services with vpns

Testing zaps on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at aljaz@minibits.cash, over a period of about 10 hours. Five of the zaps were successful, but one of the zaps failed. Average zap time was 4824ms (4.8 seconds). We consider this zap time slow... generally, zaps should complete in under two seconds. (Other Nostr users might think your zaps are broken, might not zap you again.) If you wanted to speed up your zap confirmations, you could try receiving zaps with a well-connected, cloud-based Lightning node.

do you know what the reason is for the failure

Just tested again manually and got the zap receipt, maybe the one missing zap receipt was some kind of network issue. We have found that @minibits.cash lightning address are quite slow to produce zap receipts, maybe there are lots of network round-trips necessary over long distances until the zap receipts are sent? Not sure.

yeah its an ecash mint so added round trips
