Shit. 3.5k for the demo. Hot damn that's steep.

That's how I felt!

kitchen demo was 2k

Soffit like 750 and the dumpster 750

Good on you for saving some dough on that part. I guess it all goes back to billable hours for these tradesman who have lines out the door for work. Good luck on the remodel, hoping things go smoothly and come out as you and your family would like!

Thank you! Looking forward to it being done

good man. I did the same last year. makeshift bucket sync in the livingroom. wife is a true ride or die for that one 😅

what’s the plan?

sink*

damn I need a vacation lol

Cheers to good wives!

Going to a la carte it a bit

-Hiring an electrician because there are some 220 lines I will not be touching and they have to reroute them

- then I'll probably do the dry wall on the soffits

- a buddy of mine has a hookup on cabinets so going through him

The hardest part is the kitchen design because neither my wife nor I have an eye for it ... Though some cabinet places will do that for free

Nice clean job!

Thank you, floors are next so I have to leave it clean!

Unfortunately, the rewiring begins.

I had that same issue with our house.

Good job! It will look good when done!

yeah, I figured we'd find something, glad it wasn't plumbing

Very true!

loving those windows

We are keeping those ancient beauties

Nice!
