Devotion of the state is going to happen because most individuals are followers and not completely conscious.

Signing up to murder people will also happen in both justified and unjustified circumstances.

I am failing to see how either of these things have to do with the entire label of christian nationalism as a whole.

The label "Christian Nationalist" is being, and has for decades been, used to isolate and control nearly all opponents of the pagan/collectivist project. They take extremists and then lump them in with the local cookie-baking grandma who just loves her Jesus - using the same label, then cultivate the narrative that "Christian Nationalism" is a "threat to our democracy" and they are "domestic terrorists" and then all sorts of tyrannical laws and EOs kick in. It's a trap. It's a trap like Jan 6th was. They bait us with the extreme LGBT stuff just hoping for a violent reaction from us, then they can pearl-clutch and say "see! they're violent extremists! they must be stopped!" It's a tactic and too many people are falling for it.

Our guiding principle is Jeremiah 29:7. We are pilgrims. We are not Israel 're-taking' the promised land. The Doug-Wilsonian "Christian Nationalism" project is little more than repackaged Dominionism, another error of postmillennialism. Look what that Woodrow-Wilsonion version did to the globe in the 20th century. It's error.

The authority of the State is unjust when it deviates from God’s natural law. We have not been given authority to write new laws.

Amen to that: "an unjust law is no law at all." And further, the civil and ceremonial laws which governed the ancient and theocratic State of Israel "expired together with the State of that people." [WCF 19](https://opc.org/wcf.html#Chapter_19). What ought to remain in force by a State is, you might say, only the "second table" of the moral law of God.

Anti-israel rhetoric is a trap too but nah u know everything bro Im sure lol. Just seems weak to disengage entirely from politics because the Biden administration framed so many Christians.

I am not suggesting we "disengage entirely from politics." But pushing Christianity by the arm of the state, and by grasping after the Sword, is not the way.

Christian Nationalism is a smoke screen argument being seized upon by those who love their theological intellect more than simple truth.

And what the smoke is screening is this simple question “do rights come from God or the State”

“When two or three are gathered” thank you both for great discussion. I think this is an important point to get right for the future.

I say that the most Christian thing we can do is **un-vote**

Meaning-

Disengage as much as possible from the state and its fiat money system. (Fiat money is the source of their unjust power)

We will still “give to Ceaser what is ceasers” (pay taxes) however we will NOT voluntary add anything more to system- meaning no 401k or large bank accounts, every bit of capital we have should be in free and sound money.

Sound money allows us not to “love” and obsess over mammon or wealth- it is steady stewardship and without usury. Remember also the parable of the master and servants.

Remember taxes are not enough for their war machine anymore. Enough **un-votes** will crash the printer and the endless war machine with it. If you reason with me this way, you have a moral duty to attempt this. (This is not a sacrifice, I’m just telling you to stack sats)

And it is NEVER justified under the LAW to invade and murder foreigners in far away places, as the USG has brainwashed Christians into doing the past 50 years. Those wars and the current wars are not self defense. *you will hear of wars… DO NOT be alarmed*

I believe we can look to Rothbard and Mises to help determine the best way to live our lives in stewardship- the way Christ commanded us.

If you're a reader, you might appreciate Ralph Raico's [Classical Liberalism and the Austrian School](https://mises.org/library/book/classical-liberalism-and-austrian-school) (free online PDF from mises.org).

Like IDK if you actually get what you are saying.

All the "Christian Nationalists" in the news are literally CIA plants, so if there is no wind of actual Christian Nationalists not doing that shit then the image people will get is that this is what Christians are like. Really dont follow the whole hush up and let the media dispell the truth angle at all.

Doug Wilson is many things, but he is not a CIA plant.

I'm not suggesting anyone "hush up" -- I'm suggesting that people exercise discernment about the tactics of the enemy, and not fall for their obvious traps. Pushing Christian Nationalism--of the Wilson flavor--is an error. It is first and foremost a doctrinal problem, and secondly a societal problem.
