Right! 🤣 And it’s all meaningless because I interact mostly with the same handful of people each day. If I start interacting with new people regularly, then they also become part of that group. I don’t need to know some arbitrary meaningless number.

So follow counts don’t matter across legacy social media anymore. You can’t really measure success that way. It’s the algorithm but also paid ads—not things we have here.

But if you aren’t new and have a shitty follow count, it’s telling.

There’s also the WoT score. Another metric that doesn’t mean what you’d think. You can have a ton of followers, which could be perceived as trust, but a low WoT score.

Does it feel like it’s a community around here?

Are you having a good time?
