you're moving to a rental? I enjoy the liquidity of being a renter, and the math supports it too unless you're in a very low cost area.

Yes sir. It’s my plan to relocate away from Germany once house is sold. BTC > real estate. 🧡🗽

awesome, best of luck!

Thanks brother 👊🏼

I'm probably just weird, but I'm all in crypto, stock and a few % of cash, but I'm not interested in owing a real estate. Maybe I'm just too comfortable of not taking care of it, don't know lol. So i totally support your move.

Im all in bitcoin only. As I still have some wealth stored in real estate from fiat times I’m in the process of re-allocating wealth away from real estate to bitcoin.

This is not a universal truth, my mortgage is about 50% of what I would have to pay for the same property if I was renting.

Yes for sure, personal finance is personal and there are no universal truths. My point is just that some people over-leverage (5x +) to own a home they can barely pay down and is now an illiquid asset making up 80% of their net worth.

If you have a good deal and you're not overexposed, it is worth it and I would do the same.
