Could you share some verses that point to the bible rejecting the state? IMO the bible is supporting monarchy with idealky the ruler obeying God. Mark 12:17 comes to mind.

I botched the reply lol. nostr:nprofile1qqs0eac2gh86s9l24qfmnw52xawhz0f3d862yleaetpafygjmanaxlspzvs8wumn8ghj7ur4wfcxcetsv9njuetnqyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvalerx9 it's not anarchy, but monarchy đ
The ruler of the Kingdom is Christ.
1 Samuel chapter 8
The people demanded a king because they rejected God as King.
That's more pro monarchy than pro anarchy IMO
8:22 âListen to their voice,â the LORD said to Samuel. âAppoint a king for them.â
Wow are you a fucking Marxist or just retarded?
God literally says right there that the human king will enslave them.
Even if I'm retarded or a Marxist, there is still no argument for anarchism in sight.
God is the only King. Thatâs the fact of life. You can call it whatever you want.
Yes and no. John 18:36 and all that.
But, getting back to the original question, where does the Bible advocate for anarchism?
John 18:36 also contains that same message of the Kingdom.
If we are citizens or subjects of Godâs kingdom, (the Kingdom of Truth) which is in heaven and not of this world⌠how could we also be loyal to earthly governments and false earthly kings?
A servant cannot serve two masters. He will love one and despise the other. If you donât despise the state (false master) you will despise God.
Maybe you donât understand what anarchism means- you can read Rothbard Anatomy of the State in 30 minutes if you havenât already.
But you seem intent on not seeing the truth even though itâs right in front of you, so I will say good day sir.
Was David a false king? Solomon? How about emperor Constantine? Those mental gymnastics you're doing with "hey, maaan, you don't need to serve the king, because you can serve the Lord directly, maaan" are not in the Bible.
You clearly donât want to see the truth today, thatâs ok- God will reveal to you what you need to know.
This is such a ridiculous comment, acting like 1 Samuel 8 is âpro-monarchyâ LMAO!
You either are a nihilistic Marxist or have the reading comprehension of an 8 year old.
Look, I get it. You want your space-era communism (anarchism is communism for the educated*) to be in the Bible and to be validated by God's word. The problem is - it isn't there. Now, you can either swallow your pride and approach God in humility, or invent your own god and scripture.
* Yes, I've read Rothbard and Konkin and the whole bunch. I used to be a fan. Not anymore.
Wow we must be speaking different languages.
God is the King, he has blessed me with mercy and forgiveness for my sins through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead, and gifted us his holy spirit to keep us until his return.
We are now servant stewards of his kingdom, following his will and proclaiming the gospel of love and truth until our time in this world is over.
How do we do that? We can look to the law that Christ fulfilled, alongside Christâs direct instruction:
1. You shall have no other gods before me.
And âcall no one fatherâ
Matthew 23:9
That includes the state. Your allegiance to menâs folly puts your soul at risk, and contributes to the degeneracy and destruction of our once honorable âwestern civilizationâ
Maybe we have too different backgrounds and have to agree to disagree. You sound Protestant and I'm Orthodox. My country has its share of saint kings and obviously that was according to God's will. I doubt we'll get back there though. We're probably closer to seven trumpets territory. đ
Ok that makes sense. Donât get me wrong, I think itâs right that godly men should lead when called to that responsibility, and priest/fathers/pastors should exist- only without titles or pride or the unjust power of the wicked state tyranny that we have today.
From my perspective, I think Christian-anarchy is the proper way to describe the proper political attitude we should have today. It is totally non-violent. Like the apostles living under the Roman rule.
Although the term âanarchyâ seems too evil for many. Maybe Voluntarist is better.
Christ be with you.
Guys check out Paul: Romans 13:1-7
