Amethyst users posting GIFs compared to Damus users

Mmmmm, yes. I think I’ll leave the giffin to the giffers. I like a good gif but can’t be bothered to do my own storage and uploading of my own gifs.

maybe have tenor open in browser in the background and search right click copy paste the gif url back to damus? no need to downlaod

Oh, y’all store gifs you’ve made or have downloaded on your device and then upload them. That makes more sense.

A lot of the times the exact GIF I want to respond with pops to mind, when reading the note. If I have it, I upload it, if I don’t I search for it on Google and find it.

Amethyst users have GIPHY/Tenor support afaik, which works basically similar to emoji search. Dependant on your written keywords you’ll get recommended GIFs.
