I think you mean “low” time preference though. I wasn’t familiar with the phrase until I got into bitcoin and it was confusing, but low time preference correlates more with success and passing the marshmallow test

I too have a higher preference for low time preference.
Easy way to remember is to think about “getting high” or “f*ck up” as high time preference behavior. Drugs are always the obviously short term choice, so you remember which one “high” is 😆
