KEF bricked my speakers for months with their shit app and firmware update. I finally raised hell, went maximum Karen, and they basically told me to fuck off. A week later the app updates, the firmware magically goes through, and everything is great again.
And yes, the speakers are so good that it was all worth it.
Whats amazing to me is why didn't they leave the S1 alone until they have a winner with the S2. Let people use the old stuff and win them over with a much better thing, instead of raw dog them into a new horrible prison.
Just massive lack of foresight coupled with incompetent management. My opinion, anyway.
In my case, they are infamous for doing things like that. It's happened so much that you just don't buy KEF digital products without factoring this in. And nothing changes. I suspect Sonos is just getting started.
