We can split the atom for almost limitless cheap energy but instead we stand up a bunch of useless windmills like it's the 7th century

For fucking real…

suppressorz/mufflerz for monopoly$

I think it's a bureaucratic thing. Nuclear plants using latest-gen technology take a while to build, and there's all sort of red tape, and overcoming the protests of misinformed, anti-nuke activists.

Yeah but when we split the atom, it makes "weird shit" that scares people, because it can silently kill them without them being able to see it, or hear it, or feel it, so they have no way to detect and avoid it. Weird scary shit.

reassess*/*ignorance IZ dizz

I'm pro-nuclear power. I'm only explaining why people are choosing windmills.

cOOl i waz wondering cuz i have seen sum of notez/timeline

not the people choosing/propaganda*/*

but t Y* Mike

Oh and also that weird scary shit causes the one disease we cannot cure: Cancer. And it is associated with the largest explosions ever used by mankind to kill other people. So lots of bad mental associations.

Good thing here is that adopting windmils also cures cancer.

Nuclear power is the greenest of all.

Windmills .. are great for DIY self sufficiency .. in our own back yard.

Lots of investment in fusion now.

Nobody has been able to harness the energy from nuclear explosions.

Even if what you're saying was real, it would be so expensive to build power plants that can contain nuclear explosions.

Also fusion technology is so close to being commercially viable that any investment in fizzle reactors would be a waste(I'm assuming you are just extremely confused about how nuclear works and you think that fizzle reactors split the atoms or something)

In the 7th century im sure energy was free harnessed from the ether and earth with copper πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

But i het your point. Just give us the free energy patent already. Let us see Nikola Telsa notes that they stole.

#Fukushima, #Chernobyl, #Hanford..

#Trillions of dollars and Hundreds of millions of years of #pollution.

Which allowed me the brief joy of mocking y.. #OurFriendTheAtom. #Priceless? Still no.

#Fukushima was a Tsunami, #Chernobyl was caused by socialiat idoty and peope are working there since decades again

What you are saying related to those previous plants doesn't really apply to the latest-gen nuclear production. The new plants and the technologies they use preclude many of the risks and potential consequences of generating nuclear energy. They're a lot safer, more efficient, and much less pollutant. In Chernobyl, half the reactors were 1st generation, and half were 2nd generation. If you'd like to learn more about the latest, Gen IV reactor technologies, how they work, and their efficiency and safety profiles, check out this link >> https://world-nuclear.org/information-library/nuclear-fuel-cycle/nuclear-power-reactors/generation-iv-nuclear-reactors#6%20reactor%20technologies

Damn captioned too fast. "When the world is foolish, the wise men seem crazy" would have been much better. Oh well.

I wonder why that is? Can someone explain?
