Every single "anarchist" I run into in meat space is actually some version of socialist/communist authoritarian who would obliterate private property and individual consent if given the chance.

Most anarchists I run into online are pure voluntarist, open-protocols-and-Exit-maximalist, free-market appreciators.

I don't yet know what to make of this, but it has to mean something.

I fight for an anarchism free from any leftist garbage!

Lots of right authoritarian "anarchists" out there too.

The not at all subtle distinction between "I dislike this government" and "I dislike all governments" is beyond many people.

for sure

This is why I specifically call myself an anarcho-communist.

Or a primitivist, i.e. trying to return to monke.

No vagueness

what part of "communism" are you onboarding?

Any part.

* We could get rid of all our technology and do pre-history style communism where people just work together to survive and thrive.

* We could do Chinese style communism where we starve Nazis by starving humanity by culling crops by culling sparrows with weapons.

* We could do Russian style communism where we cull Nazis with weapons and starve ourselves.

* We could do a form of bot-powered communism where chat bots tell people what to do, and people tell little robots what to do, and people who spend time and energy starting shit over factory ownership look increasingly dumb, and everyone actually is increasingly dumb.

* We could do another form of bot-powered communism where people tell little robots what to do, without listening too much to chat bots.

* We could develop robot arms, and then get rid of everything but our robot arms, and do pre-history style communism with everyone having 1 robot arm and 1 regular arm.

* Large armies could just disband, and people could just stop listening to dumb shit like "use money" and "work at the state prison" and "follow the new restrictions some people in Washington DC just came up with," and we could just have smaller groups and individuals with their own sovereign authority like the pre-history days, but without getting rid of modern technology.

The "anarcho" part is flexible if there's enough "communism" and vice versa

Most anarchists on-lime read

I know what you mean. I noticed this reading some literature from the anarchist library you had posted. I feel the understanding of physics and math, as applied to open source software, is an incentive unique to crypto-anarchists.

Yea, eventually the physics/math interest yields to economic interest and the rest writes itself.

I was just thinking something similar, but a little "ruder". There's something about the desire to be extremely internally consistent (even if it's delusional) that pulls the nerd to voluntarist anarchism. something like "if i had to reduce all human interaction to one or two rules that can apply in every situation and seem likely to yield the best results, what would they be...?" that is uniquely attractive to the kind of person who also spends a lot of time on computers πŸ˜†

autistic anarchism lol

So far, Rothbardian Anarcho-Capitalism (and Randian Objectivism I suppose) is the only philosophy I've encountered that actually seeks the abolition of control rather than simply for the leash to change hands.

I felt like a kid in a candy store when I had finally discovered it. I was searching for a formal framework for these ideas for years

Me too, feels good to be able to read people who think like yourself.

it shows human behaviour in full display. What I mean is, we humans create meanings at everything. Regardless of the definition of the word or phrase β€” it means differently to everyone.

It's bcoz we have different perception in life (culture, background, life experiences, upbringing and exposure to content).

And that is a perfect example of this. πŸ«‚
