My daughter asked me to put my name in for her school's 'teaching parent' sessions this month. I kinda sense that she just want to show off her dad but I have no experience teaching 8-year-olds. So when her teacher asks what topic would I like to talk about I just say "The history of Central banking and the power structures in third world countries" precisely because I thought I would be dropped, that a teacher would deem my topic inappropriate for kids.
Then a few days later she called to confirm my appointment. She said she thought the topic was interesting.
Now I'm in some deep s***.
