I don't see many Bitcoiners discussing Vo2max & how they are maintaining or improving it.

I find the research to be compelling, and fully dispels the bullshit mantra: "weight lifting is a total replacement for cardio".

We aren’t gorillas. Big muscles are overrated. Cardio strength is more important imho.

Yup! Strength matters, especially grip strength.

Overall you want a balanced approach, lifting weights helps with bone density & Injury prevention as well as metabolic function at rest.

You need both, just don't overdo one or the other.

It’s important. Got told by my doctor to do more cardio — did more cardio. VO2 Max increased.

How are you measuring VO2max?

Did it at the doctor’s office. Had to run on a treadmill and breathe thru an apparatus to measure the air I’m breathing in and breathing out.

There’s a lot outside strength that’s important to improve or at least keep from degrading with age. Vo2max, balance, dexterity, agility, reflexes, speed. Sports hit pretty much all of those. Unfortunately I hate sports.

#1 activity for longevity is Tennis.

#2 is jogging/running.

30minute jogs brother, get good running shoes and hit it bruh!
