Some clients already have this. Need to be specific when providing feedback as they’re all different.
I think people need to realize the impact of a long post... not sure why some Nostrians insist in posting kilometric things that only annoy me :).
If I want to put something very long then the option should be:
Add a TL;DR in your first post with an invitation to click and check a second post in a thread with a long version :)
or... use notebin.org
coracle.social has done this since the beginning
nostr is not just damus, many clients already do this!
