People say you can't solder dissimilar metals. Well, that may be true, but I sure can crimp them together. Might need some electrical tape to keep it from springing apart.

You sure can solder dissimilar metals, but, you need to make sure the gap between them is tight so the solder can wick in via capillary action. Do use plenty of flux.
