I had just gotten my first real job after graduating from college and had moved out into my first apartment. I had taken to going to the local grocery store (Kroger) and walking the inner perimeter. I would pick up whatever meat was on sale in the manager’s special area. One night I bought pork something, looked like this but I would swear to you it said “shoulder”. I Cooked it like a steak in my steel pan, ate it like a steak. And damn was it good. Went back the next week to look for it properly and couldn’t find it. What is this cut of meat sir, do they sell it as a “pork steak” or something else? I’m chasing that feeling. 😀😋

It's sometimes labeled as "pork shoulder steak" in the store so it's prob the same thing -- when cooked right I would put them up against any beef steak.
