I had just gotten my first real job after graduating from college and had moved out into my first apartment. I had taken to going to the local grocery store (Kroger) and walking the inner perimeter. I would pick up whatever meat was on sale in the managerās special area. One night I bought pork something, looked like this but I would swear to you it said āshoulderā. I Cooked it like a steak in my steel pan, ate it like a steak. And damn was it good. Went back the next week to look for it properly and couldnāt find it. What is this cut of meat sir, do they sell it as a āpork steakā or something else? Iām chasing that feeling. šš

It's sometimes labeled as "pork shoulder steak" in the store so it's prob the same thing -- when cooked right I would put them up against any beef steak.
