right, that's what i found. an explanation of how it was tested. the red highlight in nostr:nprofile1qqsdywzvftrz86ulzkhyevewu75mq0szq2qz65hj890ja68kgvc4r2spz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumrwv96jumn9wshsz9nhwden5te0wahhgtnwdaehgu3wwpshyare9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshs9gtat4 's post is not from that text from Apple. his post very misleadingly and deliberately makes it seem that the red-highlighted text appears somewhere in the printed booklet pictured. which it does not.

there's no reason for him to be dishonest and misleading when there ard actual sources (like the ones we found) that he could cite directly.

Dishonest?

Here. Read it.

https://regulatoryinfo.apple.com/rfexposure/iphone3,1

“Carry iPhone at least 15mm away from your body.”

Word for word.

Funny thing though: newer iPhones don’t say that anymore.

The warning just… vanished.

Why?

Not because phones got safer

but because regulators moved the goalposts.

SAR test protocol changed from IEC 62209-1/2 → IEC 62209-1528

Go figure what’s really happening.

The real crazy part is how all the guidelines and regulations are completely meaningless because damaging effects have been shown at way, waaaaay lower doses… But I guess some people aren’t ready for this conversation.

Like I said - there are actual sources which can be cited (which you're doing here), which will relate to specific models and specific testing protocols (as you've pointed out).

I don't disagree with any of that.

What I was taking issue with, and explained really clearly in the post of mine you quoted, was your insinuation that the the paper booklet is current ("nobody reads these", present tense) and that the red-highlighted text appears verbatim today in those booklets. That is just an entirely different (misleading, outrage-trolling, etc.) claim and message than your accurate citations in this post.

Actually cell phones did get much safer over time. The transmitted frequencies changed to safer frequencies because they are less absorbed by the human body and the transmit powers have decreased over the years.

Dont believe me? Trust your own experience. Everyone has noticed that cell phones no longer make your speakers buzz when they are about to ring. I've still got the same speakers on my desk, only the phone changed.

Just stop being dishonest and people will stop showing up to correct you.
