I don’t believe in aliens.

Why not?
Fermi paradox, mostly. There may have been (or are) other intelligent species but I think we would see signs of aliens if they did exist.
Dark Forest theory. Everyone is incentivized to keep their head down or else get hunted. Also the universe is crazy big. Plenty of galaxies far enough away that we wouldn’t be able to catch any signs of life
I believe it’s possible there are aliens alive right now somewhere in the universe. But that’s not today’s definition of “aliens”.
And I don’t believe in dark forest theory. If a civilization got advanced enough to reach Earth there would be signs observable by telescope.
So do you think light speed travel is possible?
Possible? Yes. Do I think there is intelligent life capable of traveling at light speed as of today? No. https://grabbyaliens.com/
So then we're experiencing a lag of at least several thousands of years of being able to hear or see evidence of alien life in just our galactic neighborhood. Which I understand is miniscule time on a cosmos timeline, but still seems improbable to me of being able to detect life. As in, I don't think not hearing or detecting alien life doesn't imply they don't exist 🤔
Same.
I met someone who believes in aliens. He came to a Bitcoin meetup like a bull in a China shop, and said he'd bought Ripple.
