The Communities feature of Amethyst works great. I'm hoping we get some sort of basic owner and mod tools to edit communities, add mods, remove mods, and to manage modqueues. Once we have these mobile tools, there's no reason a mod team from Reddit couldn't move their subs over to Nostr.

I can’t wait to get back on Android super soon to check it out!
This, and also looking forward to the Telegram-like app I saw. I suppose Communities could serve about the same purpose too. Exciting stuff!
I've experienced one time, that mods silenced me when I actually did nothing wrong. A bunch of teenagers which can't stand contradictory comments and having all the power over community is never a good thing especially for nostr. Mods should be all of us like we report spam, we could curate subs.
I look forward to setting one up for my discord community.
How do you start a new community?
