Some people have created a worldview that if you don’t care about every single thing that’s happening on the globe than you shouldn’t be allowed to care about anything. As if self work is the same thing as caring about every global injustice? I don’t understand it.

Centralized media WINS when you choose to allow your thought to align to the divisive fear based propaganda they are shoving down your throat. Most don’t see past this and any narrative counter causes significant internal triggers. The masses have been manipulated by this for so long, sadly.

This is scriptural; Mat 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
I think this is true to an extent, especially with ambiguous or complex situations. But taken too far this idea can lead to victim blaming.
