Cooking means to means to let someone do their thing.

If a dude is in the middle of a speech breakthrough, and someone wants to interrupt but what the OP is saying is super revolutionary people shut up the interruptor by saying "let him cook" referring to the original person.

Oh, nevermind, I remember the second cooked too.

As in "chat, are we cooked".

Honestly it would've been even better if I didn't use it in a correct way and she still would have understood what I meant.
