Planet Earth is funny. I can write hundreds of words and get 21 or so sats. Jack Dorsey says something like “bacon tastes nice” and gets billions of sats.

If you're a billionaire, many sats are simply gifted to you. If you're poor, you can come up with your magnus opus and get 37🤷🏻♂️🫂.
And also, what if the bacon tastes nice but also has some nasty preservatives in it?!
Doesn't matter, still worth at least 5K sats!
It is funny 🙃
But guys, nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgstw3r3l is funding a lot of freedom stuff. For example last year there was Nostriga, a few hundred bodies Nostr event you could attend for free AND you got a prepaid card loaded with sats to spend on food and drinks. Or just keep the sats.

True and people buy tickets to conferences and use Block products and all manner of other things.
I’m more curious in how 3 word posts become super valuable so I can save myself a lot of time.
I love smoky bacon crisps by the way
Frazzles, although not technically crisp, are pure win.
Zaps are like bank loans.
Banks lend more willingly to those who don’t need the money.
haha!
What's messed up Is sometimes we say exactly what they're saying and nobody notices hahahah
If we organise we can flood the market with Dorsey-esque quotes and bring the market value right down, like central banking for zaps.
It’s the same like in American footbal or Basketball. Or even a Taylor fucking Swift. Bitcoiners just worship different kind of celebrities.
I am well past being offended by it… it’s just the way it is.
Satoshi really did the best to stay anonymous.
Kill your heroes… except those heroes.
I find it more amusing than troubling. I definitely put some musicians on a pedestal and they’re some of the most flawed humans out there.
‘no more heroes anymore’ as the old song used to go, half a century ago… as much as a proposition as an observation…
but followers still like to follow… seemingly whatever makes them feel ‘sovereign’ and/or ‘seen’ at this point… ?
Yeah I get it, confirmation bias which we’re all prone to or at least I know I certainly am. Zap culture is quite odd really, or maybe perception of value is.
A couple of times I’ve taken a meme from elsewhere and got zaps instantly, despite putting in zero effort, other times I might think I’ve made something interesting, using time of which I’ve not much left and got no reaction at all.
At the same time, I’ll give people money because they said something odd. Imagining that happening in real life is hilarious.
Fabricating a Jack Dorsey quote has gained me £2.32!
I’m gonna try this in Tescos….
Yeah but common bro, he needs them so much more than you do. And imagine being noticed by him, priceless!
