This is the month when all your favorite corporate brands put rainbows in their logos, except in countries where it would be detrimental to their business.

ridiculous

Where I'm from, they tread cautiously!

Wonder why!?

Well in my country shops get raided for colourful products and homosexuals get prisoned and publicly canned so I hope more brands or every brand puts out colourful products so that government stop playing moral police and my friends can love who they want to without being afraid for their lives

Government has no place regulating consensual adult behavior. I just find the corporate capture of the 🏳️‍🌈 symbol stupid. Go to a parade and dance on the float sponsored by a bank that used to discriminate against queers and people of color applying for home mortgages. Okay.

I know right - everyone tries to make money out of every hype. But in this case the hype makes a diff I guess. State and church really never separated. Impactful when state revenue contributors make a statement. But everything needs a balance. I’m not sure what’s the balance on this

I’m sure it’s a coincidence that it happens to compete for attention with Fathers Day.

Which countries are those?

Hmmm wonder what they do to the gays over there? 🤔

Well, in every middle eastern country except one.

Which country is that?! 👀

The only democracy.

LOL

Iraq?!

Nice to see they’re also on a better path. I hope they keep walking it.

It appears they aren’t actually considered a democracy by international standards, but them and Tunisia are closer than the rest. Again, except one.

A lot of Bitcoiners don't like living in a democracy, maybe we should send them on a field trip?!

THIS! 👆😂

Meanwhile, next door to Turkey in Greece (where democracy was invented), they’re like, fuck yeah, bring on the gay!

Somehow I don’t think they are.

Definitely not something I’m optimistic about.
