Some would say it’s a tool to protect against debasement and loss of purchasing power. For that use case NGU is most important. Bitcoin means different things to different people. No one person’s agenda is objectively the correct one. If bitcoin is truly a commodity money then it has no agenda. It just is.
NGU is a feature that pulls in new bitcoiners, just part of the process.
