My MacBook Pro died yesterday and I am in need of a new one. But there aren’t much of a difference between Pro 13’ and Air 13’ m2 chip. I can’t decide 😭
Is there a big price difference? 👀💜
I went with the Air (from Pro) for portability. But I miss the extra USB-C ports. The air (m2 with 16gb ram) hasn't hit a slow down for what I do.
That’s nice to hear cuz there is a part of me that wants to try the Air. I’ve always had pro 💻
Depends on what you wanna do with it. Are going to use it for some resource consuming tasks, e.g video editing..?
Kinda depends on what you need, if you’re going to be doing intensive computer work then Pro

Mmh you could probably walk away with the air and be fine to be honest, sounds like it’ll be able to run what you need

Make sure you look at the differences in the ports too. Pro has HDMI and SD slots, which might be helpful if you use external monitors for editing. Air is pretty much just thunderbolt/usb-c
Tbh the m2 air seems plenty. Only thing that might leave you wanting is screen size

It really depends on your requirement but if you have MacBook Air with M2 chip you will be fine.

I love the Macbook Pro but the Air M1/M2 is apparently really good. So it depends on what you’re using it for. For developers or people producing some kind of media, I’d easily go for the Pro. For casual use such as Youtube, Word, web browsing in general, I’d probably go for the Air as it is cheaper.

M2 chip in the air has the same specs as the pro. I personally think the air is decent. All depends on use. They are overpriced but some countries cheaper than others. Europe is overpriced for apple
