Hey, that's racist in Canada, where's your land acknowledgment 😤 @CBC

Im gonna start calling people Padrino, just because.

Just like here thanks to chespirito "Licenciado" even if you aren't one lol

Hey bud, chief and compadre aren’t generational. I could see how you’d think so but it comes down to finding creative ways to distract people from the fact that you’ve forgotten their name but consider them a friend, friend. There are cool cats from every generation that don’t have the time to remember names, brother. See tiger? It’s more of a cool thing than a specific age thing, champ. Compadre works but these days comrade only works in certain circles.

I just go with homedude, if I forget your name.

No clue, mi amigo.

The parents of the kids our son's age (we're a solid 5-10 years older than most sometimes more 👵) call the boys bud. I hate it, but I think it goes along with what you're asking here. Yes I think it is generational, as a person who is horrible with names I just leave it at hey!!! how are you? and then ask someone who the fuck is this person that thinks we're besties 😂🤷‍♀️

I think so
