Genuine question

How do we verify npubs of prolific people who may be targets of impersonation, or anyone for that matter, without relying on them to cross post their npub somewhere else, especially with an exodus of people leaving Twitter to come to Nostr where that was taking place mostly.

The MySpace way, posting a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with your npub handwritten, throwing up a peace sign and MAYBE some duck lips 😤✌️
