#solar #aquaponics #grownostr doing a small solar setup for a pond pump. I will document the process as I’ve never done it before.

100w panel by renology, comes with brackets and solar charger.

I have an inverter, getting a 10 amp hour battery. Putting everything in this dewalt toolbox. Need to get a waterproof vent and plug

Let us know how you get on with Renology, I often wondered if they're worth the extra money

Will do, just need to run a 25w pond pump for 6-8 hours a day, just wanted to get some experience with solar, build this out for emergencies as well.

I've heard a lot of good things about their gear, I've got no idea of the provenance of my panel and charge controller but it serves my needs, except during winter - from beginning of November till early February it's fairly crap - I need a new charge controller now so I can hook in the turbine and panel through one system. It's either that or I fully replace the solar and keep the turbine separate, in which case Renology would probably be what I'd want to try

Nice work, I built a similar system a few years ago for an off grid Cabin a friend owns

Any tips or good items to have?

Interested in this build. I put a small 25 gallon pond in my chicken run and need to cycle the water with solar.

Awesome! Let us know how it goes!
