No matter how much I study and often hear the same thing over and over; I’m always amazed at how each time I glean something new or otherwise connect a dot I previously hadn’t.

I think why it took me so long to grasp “Bitcoin is a protocol” vs “Bitcoin is better money” is because of the proliferation of:

A. Pricing BTC in fiat, and

B. The encouragement to spend BTC as though it is money.

Even here on NOSTR I’ve said it a hundred times “if it’s worth a Like, Comment, ReNote, or QuoteNote; it’s worth a #zap “

Problem is that is just one layer…of the protocol that is Bitcoin!

I was mentally stopping there instead of recognizing Bitcoin is to be built upon 🤯

Man when you connect that dot it REALLY makes fiat land look like dystopia and “crypto” like cronyism!
