Yes because kids will use it no matter what. Why make them lie? It’s going in the direction of calculators and math. Teachers will need to retool their assignments to still hone in on how to think, with chatgpt being one arrow in a quiver of tools.

I think education is actually one of the more promising aspects of AI, actually. I think having something like ChatGPT as a tutor could only be a good thing. The issue, is how do we test that children is learning? I think we can do that. But it's going to take new paradigms.

Yes. The teachers I know are all quite enthusiastic about it, incorporating and developing coursework around it. Granted, they are university level educators so have students with a strong foundation already (supposedly).
